I take pictures at the moment the subject presents itself, without prior planning. They are photographs of, or from, my life. But the reason why I had to take that particular picture was that it fit into an imaginary world I have created inside, of which I have several at any given time – some quite clearly defined, others more vague. Only when I look at the images, perhaps years later, do I find out where they really belong. Around 2014, I began shooting photographs with a camera and not just in my head.
